Stable HLS Version

Hello Team,
We understand this is the stable HLS version https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/hls.js@latest, Please correct if there is something more stable than this.
We plan to replicate the contents of this cdn url to prevent any issues to our service. But also want to be periodically up to date with latest hls.js. So could you comment on recommended cadence for sync and get latest features and bug fixes.

Hi @Pri12890 I'd recommend using https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/hls.js@1 as that will give you the latest stable version of v1. If we make breaking changes and release a v2 you'd need to update your url at that point.

Two questions.

1. How could we get notified if and when there is v2?
2. Any future improvements, features not necessarily bug-fixes, will that be reflected in v1 url or v2 url?

1. Probably easiest is to subscribe to releases on GitHub using the watch option
2. We follow semantic versioning so v2 would be if we make a breaking change otherwise it would be a patch or minor version
