Thank you again for creating and maintaining this excellent program.
I am aiming to mask specific bins across multiple FAN-C .hic contact matrices. My tentative goal is to record the bin indices in a vector. Then, I want to apply the vector of indices to each of the matrices to mask these bins before performing KR balancing. Or is it perhaps better to use an approach in which we specify genomic regions to mask? In any event, maybe these can be achieved using the FAN-C Python API. Since I am new to it, I wonder if you have any guidance on the specific classes, functions, or methods to use for this purpose?
Looking forward and feedback or insights. Thank you.
