Watch window usage in vscode when a C program is debugged.

Hi,

I got a question about the usage in C.
when I add some thing in the watch window. I can's use something like A->a, I have to use A.a even the A is a pointer. otherwise it will say that I have some syntax issues. I'm not sure I understand why I have to do this. Is this right? or I have some setting errors.
