Currently, there is no formatting for lists when used in a post (such as a talk or announcement)
This is because unformatted lists are used in the home page to display talks and other things.

Without impacting other areas of the site, having formatted lists in posts would be nice

An example: in this post I had to add some stylistic things to the HTML, and it still didn't turn out looking too good

The problem stems from the fact that these lines in our css remove formatting for all lists.

I think the fix is to add some sort of tag to the post content/section/container or something that has appropriately styled lists in the acm.css file

Shouldn't your inline css overrule the css rules defined in the css file?

@gizmo385 it does. I am saying that I don't want to have to inline CSS. I think its more common for posts to have style associated with them, rather than the reset.css non-style

Oh okay. I misunderstood what you were saying.

This is somewhat messy, but might work

Thoughts?

@bijanCS expressed interest in this issue. I am curious to see which options he come up with to solve it
