How to install in mac?

Hello,
I want to install uWebSockets in macos to use for communication between apps.
I downloaded and ran the 'make' at the terminal, but It doesn't work.
it's the return message is like this,
make[1]: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.

My working environment is Xcode and Sonoma in mac.
Xcode command line tools are installed,
to compile some program, I installed openssl, libuv, zlib successfully.
Please, let me know the solution.
