Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

  1. I have a paging system I'm quite happy with that works for all of my classes (almost, druid takes a different config, and it's not perfect for Rogue but good enough for me with some macro work).

  2. Every time I start an alt and switch to my main profile I still have to configure paging per-toon OR manually edit 'Dominoes.lua' to copy over from one of my set up classes.

Describe the solution you'd like

Least coding: I would like to have had a button / toggle in the Profile configuration that says "Copy paging layout from [drop-down of classes stored in the profile]"

More coding: A "default paging" meta class, then have a button per class that says "use default paging for this profile" might be a more elegant solution as it wouldn't stuff duplicates of the paging commands on every class ... and would give the ability to quickly switch between default paging and specifics for just that class.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Manually editing the lua file or trying to remember exactly what I have set up whenever I create a new toon.

Additional context

Notes:

  • For now I've managed to manually edit for every class, so I don't need this feature to fix the issue for me personally. But I do see it having value for other players and/or myself in the far future when I'm changing something I want reflected on (almost) all my alts.
  • Just for context, the way I set up my bars is using a numpad as a left handed macro pad.
    • To map every button on the numpad takes 2 bars. I set up bars 3 and 4 as my main actions (with bar 1 being things that remain bound to keyboard 1 through 0 and - = ... but all paging disabled)
    • I bind 2 more action bars to replace my numpad mappings when Control is pressed
    • I bind 2 more action bars to replace my numpad mappings when Alt is pressed
    • I reserve Shift as a modifier for use in macros
    • I hide the 4 bars used for Control and Alt modifiers are pressed unless Control and Alt are both pressed for editing the actions on them

Which all put together works very well for quickly setting up a new alt for my layout, but ends up meaning configuring Dominoes per toon is actually the hardest thing to do. Having a quick and concise way to copy Paging layouts to new classes or a "default paging" set per profile would go a long way to speeding up this process as well.

Maybe a per bar setting to use class-specific paging settings?
