bcftool error

I had the error with libtabixpp0, when I fixed this I seemed to loose bcftools. I have forced reinstall (bcftools and snippy) multiple times including downgrading but I keep coming back saying this error:

Need bcftools --version >= 1.7 but you have 0 - please upgrade it.

Any suggestions as to how to do this?
