let preAppend = propIsNumber ? ${propName}_ : '';

if the underscore near the end is changed to a period, then the flattenQueryResult method will work seamlessly with imported field references.

import CLAIMAINT_FIELD from '@salesforce/schema/Claim__c.Contact__r.Name';
