Hi.

I noticed you opened an issue report against all my modules, due to missing SVG icons representing them. As i guess addon manager now supports such icon? Best if i respond here for all modules.

Realistically i don't see missing icon representing a big issue and i will first try to finish the coding related work. After i plan to start working more seriously on aspects such as icon and the documentation.

@triplus I opened said issues so that I could track them all through FreeCAD/FreeCAD-addons#37 (I did so for all workbenches). Sorry for the noise. You have a lot on your plate and I appreciate all you do for FC.

Would you be open to me posting requests for others to create icons for you said addon at this time, until your development timeline reaches that point where you can take a look at this in more depth? I'd post them to the FC UI/UX subforum, of course.

Edit: Are you green light with using the above logo to represent this Addon specifically (for the time being)?

I reevaluated you proposal again today and realistically this will have to wait until most of involved modules reaches maturity (code vise). Tasks, such as creating an icon representation and the documentation, that will be persued after.

@triplus Sorry, just clarification, you are 'red light' on using a placeholder image (that the community would create) to fill the gap of time until you have reached the moment in your development when you can address this ?

Hello, I think adding an icon could improve the module discovery in the addon manager and facilitate finding it, since there are dozens of addons now.

So I wonder what is the status of this. What is wrong with the icon suggested by @luzpaz?

I can suggest improvement if necessary.

@roipoussiere triplus has 'gone dark' since Aug 2020 (which is the last time they were active on the forum). There has been talk of forking the repos belonging to triplus so development can continue.

Ok, thanks for the clarification. Is there a good place on the forum to talk about this? I'm interested, since I would like to contribute to this add-on.
