Please add an option to force the installation of a package if the OS and/or ARCH do not match the current box. The example that comes up over and over for me is a package that is compiled for CentOS or Red Hat but will not install on Ubuntu.

I generally find this sort of option distasteful (obviously it would be better to fix the package to reflect that installing it on the other OS is acceptable), but practically sometimes that's not trivial and in the meantime users would like to install the package and get on with their lives before the package maintainer has time to fix the package.
