When testing with either flash-dist or the Willow Web Flasher I notice esptool is very slow. It almost "hangs" at 24%, again at 100%, and then takes a long time after "Wrote X bytes" to reset.

In the end flash takes at least several minutes. It works very reliably but seems to be unnecessarily slow.
