To try the test to see the issue. The daemon also crashes:

thread 'vring_worker' panicked at src/main.rs:293:18:
called `Result::unwrap()` on an `Err` value: ProcessQueue(EncodeMessage(Error { kind: WriteZero, message: "failed to write whole buffer" }))
note: run with `RUST_BACKTRACE=1` environment variable to display a backtrace
