Feature request.

When deleting a post we generally:

  • leave a note with a link to the rule that was broken, distinguished and stickied
  • flair the post as 'Removed'

The first action is fully automated in mod macros. It would be nice to have the second one included as well.

This might be implemented as a checkbox in the macro definition screen (e.g. 'Flair post') and a box for the flair text.

Guys, apologies for the flooding, just fell inlove with mod macros :) Thanks for the job you are doing on this excellent toolkit!

Adding a flair to a post would be much easier to implement than adding a usernote, we already have a utility function for adding flairs. This shouldn't be bad, I'll see what I can do.

Just so you know, we're gearing up to release 3.6 already, so chances are these requests won't get in until 3.7 at the earliest.

Oh, you might also take a look at the removal reasons module - it's already got flair integration, though as the name implies it only works when you're removing a post.

Ok, that's embarrassing :)

Thanks, removal reasons is what I needed.

Feel free to close this, unless you think there's value in adding this functionality to mod-macros as well.
