Mac OS: 13.2.1 (22D68)

I followed steps here:
#20

  • Icon is in menu bar
  • Icon has the "cancel" 馃毇 overlay
  • Either with a default app (Spotify) or with defaults deleted as in the above steps

The behavior is as follows:

NoTunes Config Spotify Closed Spotify Open
No default app Pressing play does nothing, but repeated presses eventually opens Music Pressing play does nothing, and eventually opens Music, unless one first manually starts Spotify with the space key or clicking Play

Is there anyone using Ventura for whom this isn't a problem? It'd be helpful for passersby to know whether noTunes is worth trying out or not.

Hi @jakeonrails a new version has been pushed to the repo if you'd like to give it a go (Homebrew version coming shortly). Please let me know how you get on.
