Create project button won't work if client is from outside default workspace #2250

This user isn't able to use the create project button. They have a default workspace set and they are the owner/admin of their ws. I cannot reproduce, but they've sent a screen recording.
TrackExtension/3.0.21 - looks like they're on Chrome
