When creating an archive from the Mac version of ffsend, the file is created in a .tar format. Is there an option to archive the file in .zip format instead? As it's commonly supported across multiple platforms and can be easily downloaded by recipients.

To answer your question: no, this is currently not possible.
However, I'd like to have it added, along with various other archive types.
Back when I started building ffsend, there wasn't a nice solution available
for this, without requiring a lot of work. This may be better now.
