The new Cyclopedia Map added the "full" maps of all areas above ground to the client. Certainly there are some maps there which TibiaMaps do not have, specially those of unreachable areas. On the other hand, the Cyclopedia Maps do not include some "special" locations, for example Schrödinger's Island, so we cannot use it to replace the TibiaMaps file.

I think we can use this issue to list noticeable differences and update TibiaMaps accordingly. I'm sending the "high" resolution maps extracted from the client (Version 11.83).

For example, this difference around the newly explored Falcon Bastion. Note that besides the missing mountain area there is also one difference in the object color (in orange), that's something to pay attention to.

I'm not sure of what would be the best way to do it, if you rather split it and create the client minimap files or merge them (if you add TibiaMap's areas that the Cyclopedia map does not have, it may be enough).

This is the ground floor file. I still have to get around to properly generating the other floors:

Currently, the Cyclopedia's Map replaces all black pixels by light blue pixels. I already reported this bug.

I would say it is best to use the map Cip published to fansites since they fixed this same bug on it when I complained. 😄

I generated the files for the other floors. If you want, I can slice them into minimap files but I think you can also get that done easily.

Here are all minimap files (ground and above) cropped from the Cyclopedia map:

The Vengoth mountain is missing several mountain parts. From the Cyclopedia:

The Yalahar city walls as well as walls between quarters:

@LeeKunTibia Merged! There were some small areas in the old maps that are not present in these new maps you provided — I'm assuming those were Odyssey tracking issues and so they are now gone.

I think they were, yes.

We can also improve a lot of the Roshamuul Mountains using the Cyclopedia map:
