Differences between Cyclopedia map and Minimap

I just noticed something interesting while helping a friend with the Gold Digger achievement.

We all know some areas are simply not in the Cyclopedia Map, like Summer and Winter courts. But some areas actually have small differences as well. The tiles where you can dig for Scarab/Scarab Coins on the desert appear as light gray squares on the Cyclopedia Map, but not on the explored Minimap. They used to be visible on the Minimap too, but CipSoft changed it, likely to make the digging a little harder.

I'm not sure if there's anything we can do with this info, to be honest. We could use the Cyclopedia map to generate the maps for website/download with more detail, but the differences would be erased when players walked near them, so I don't think it would be very useful anyway.
