I love writing my maths formula notes in tables because tables are so much easier to read. The problem is that when I use HTML code or LaTeX (using Quick LaTeX for Obsidian) and I try to use the pad cell setting, the table has very weird formatting and is very hard to edit and search for errors. This is because the actual amount of characters used in the code is much larger that the display of the LaTeX or HTML.
I would love it if it were possible to check the length of the displayed code and base the pad cell setting off of that, maybe by including a "check for codes inside of the line and check how long the displayed length of that is" button or something.
I think this would be a lovely feature. I'm sorry if it is actually much much more difficult than it seems from my no knowledge point of view of these types of things. Thank you!!
