It's not possible to set this thing up based on these docs. They are not complete, lots of missing steps.

https://www.npmjs.com/package/@tensorflow-models/face-landmarks-detection

Somebody needs to go through and either rewrite these docs or add the missing information.

(note, I won't way what's missing because if you can't figure it out yourselves then you're sort of doomed to begin with 😅 Maybe a good strategy is to try to set it up yourself and take on the frame of mind of a near absolute beginner)

Hi, @Johnrobmiller

We apologize for the delay in responding. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. It's possible there may be missing steps in the README.md file. We'll attempt to replicate the setup process on our end to identify any gaps.

We believe you're working in a React environment. To improve the clarity of the instructions for absolute beginners, we'd appreciate your help in one of two ways:

  • Collaborate on revising the README.md: If you're available, we'd be happy to work with you to refine the instructions in the README.md file.

  • Submit a Pull Request (PR): If you prefer, you can submit a Pull Request directly to the repository with any missing steps or improvements to the current instructions.

In the meantime, we'll also be following the existing README.md to identify any missing information. We appreciate your valuable time and effort in helping us improve the documentation for face-landmark-detection.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
