How to set an offset with the Update::filter_message() approach?

In my implementation, I'm handling updates using the Update::filter_message() method. However, I couldn't find a clear way to set an offset.

Does the Update::filter_message() approach inherently handle offset management, or is there a recommended way to implement offset handling within this approach?

"Offset" is handled in the update listener implementation, namely Polling. Note that it doesn't let you set the offset either, as it fetches the oldest possible updates by default (unless you drop pending updates).
