About lua script syntax parsing

Hello, above is my code for calling the parsing interface.I want to give me a message in case the parsing fails, I don't want to throw.After the comment throw,the code in Figure 1 always returns ok.I don't know if it is because I used it wrong. Can you give me an idea or solution?
