I submitted a PR today. A guy submitted the same fix one year ago but was never merged, so it is outdated and the author didn't do anything.

If you really wanna get away the warning you can use my forked project while the author does not approve my pull request:

yarn add rafaelbpa/react-native-select-multiple

There seem to be two competing PRs to address this; #41 seems to be simpler than #49. There is outstanding feedback on #41 which I imagine is why it hasn't been merged.
