Simply open exif cleaner then attempt to drag and drop pictures

Hardware:
Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 1

System:
Fedora Linux 36 (Workstation Edition)
OS Type: 64-bit
Gnome Version: 42.1
Windowing System: Wayland


ExifCleaner 3.6.0
Electron 11.4.4
linux 5.17.12-300.fc36.x86_64
Locale: en-US

I wonder if it's a Wayland issue with the Electron version the app is currently on

could be just tested v3.4.0 and it's working fine with drag and drop

Thanks for the info. But please don't use that version there were 2 critical security vulnerabilities fixed in ExifCleaner since then.

Unfortunately it might be a while until I can update ExifCleaner to a new version of Electron because they don't support ESM modules, and electron-webpack is deprecated. So I will have to switch to something like esbuild or Webpack which is time-consuming. Until then I recommend you use exiftool directly from the command line.

yea I noticed that, also would like to add it works fine if the file is manually imported via file > then open. Just drag and drop is broken
