Hello. I need help to fix a problem with Electrumsys. On the Trezor website, I learned that there was a compatible wallet to store the Sys. It indicated that it was Electrunsys. I searched the internet and found on the website https://electrum.syscoin.org, the wallet to install on the PC. I installed it, and made a deposit of sys from Binance to Electrumsys. In the block explorer it appears as received, but indicates "Not yet redeemed". I realized later that Electrumsys has been without a network for months. And since I see that it is a long time, I am afraid that Electrumsys will not have network update. So I would like to know if there is a solution to recover my sys coins trapped in the block and without being visible in the wallet, because it has no network. I hope an answer that can help me to recover my funds, greetings.

at some point I will just refork electrum and add sys support without assets and shouldn't be too hard, for now you have to extract the private key but it is not a standard xpub wallet i think. Maybe you can google around extracting private key from electrum bitcoin wallet

First of all, thanks for replying. The problem is that I only know the basics about computing. If you say that at some point you will reform Electrumsys, I imagine that when that happens, there will be an update of the program and you will have an operational network, which will make my sys coins appear in the wallet. I had already seen in Google that with the master private key, you could go to a different wallet like Metamask, and from there import the wallet. What happens is that Metamask or Trustwallet that have the option to import, are incompatible with Syscoin, and the only wallet that I have found for Syscoin is Coinomi, but it does not have the option to import the Electrumsys wallet. If you would be so kind as to tell me which other wallet I could export the master private key to, and get my funds back, I would really appreciate it. All the best

I think the geniuses over at electrum decided to make their own derivation scheme for the private keys and even the master key so the traditional derivation from a seed phrase won't even work. Did it give you seed phrase? can you extract it? thats a good place to start, other than that I think once we have functional code you can update to that and it should allow you to send the coins out.

I have the seed phrases from when I installed the wallet. Export won't let me because the network doesn't work. From what I see my only hope is that they enable Electrumsys again. Do you know more or less when there may be an update to make Electrumsys functional?

will look into it this week i have reforked electrum today so we woul dneed to update electrumx server and start those servers and update the binaries for a new release, its also untested so we would need to run through sanity tests

I'm glad you told me that. If Electrumsys ends up being as functional as Electrum for bitcoin, I wouldn't need to send my sys coins to another site, as I would have the support of using a Trezor to further protect the sys. Thanks

Are you able to export the private key from electrumsys and import it into syscoin-qt / syscoind?

Have you tried Syscoin-qt wallet? That should allow you to import private key

I have similar issue. I sent my sys few months ago to Electrum (trezor) following Trezor offical recommendation, and they did arrived as the sever happened to be working. Currently I cant send them out and I tried several things:

  1. 12 words ELECTRUM seed phrase import to seed to Pali/coinnomi I get error - this wallet does not exit. Mentioned above that it wont work neither when network is down, right?

  2. electrum - Import -private key - is empty there are no private keys..

  3. imported TREZOR seeds to Pali succesfully, but SYS were not there - they are on electrum not trezor- but I thought they might be somehow connected

I dont know what else to try. There will be any solution for this?
