Describe the bug
When dragging the time bar out of its space (the ruler) makes very often disappear the layer gizmos (or helpers), from that point the only way I found to make them appear again are to change the point of the time manually, by clicking and not dragging or dragging carefully so that to finish in the ruler

To Reproduce

timeline

Expected behavior
The gizmos should never disappear even if you drag out of the area you started dragging.

System information:

  • OS: macOS
  • OS version: 12.6.7
  • Synfig version: 1.5.1

In case it helps: I have just found out that it may be related with the "Thumbnail preview" feature as I disabled it and the issue is gone...

Looks like an issue with GTK on macOS.
It works fine on Linux/Windows, but is easy to reproduce on macOS.
