In the section "Linux shortcuts", it is described how to create a shortcut for Linux system. Is it also possible to create such a short for macOS? I am a new user to macOS and found no solutions for this after searching online. Any help would be appreciated.

One can add the following shortcut to espanso: java -jar PATH_TO_TEXTIDOTE/textidote.jar > report.html. With a configuration file for textidote defined, then one can call textidote with something like ":textidote" (this can be defined in espanso), which would be replaced with the command java -jar PATH_TO_TEXTIDOTE/textidote.jar > report.html.
