I find using the built-in Markdown Preview as a good view to read markdown files. However, the backlinks don't show up when in the Preview window.

There are multiple previews implemented in Memo, I'm not sure which one do you mean. Please elaborate or share a screenshot.

When I use the in-built preview (such as searching "Markdown: Open Preview") and I go to a life preview, the backlinks are not available.

I found that reading and navigating with the links in the preview was a good experience (easier to read and see images, etc.). But, it's hard to use without the backlinks available when I have the preview open.
