I'd like my own player name highlighted via the name highlighting script in svo. I've searched through the code, but no idea how to include it.

It's not designed to do that. I recommend making a highlight trigger in Mudlet to make it happen :)

Id actually support this change, if only because its glaring when one name isn't highlighted. But NDB needs a bit of an overhaul anyhow, so this will likely roll into that after svo multiclass is fully released
