Please consider continuing to work on this (namely 3.x)! It seems like a great project. I'm guessing you no longer have any time to work on it, and if that's truly the case, I might be willing to pick it up. Unfortunately, even I have very little time and learning the project's foundation and where 3.x is would take significant amounts of time.

At the very least, getting it to a good point for handing it off would be greatly appreciated.
