It's not always desirable to let JACK autoconnect, but SuperCollider is lacking a option to set JACK autoconnect off.

edit:
This can be done already:

"SC_JACK_DEFAULT_INPUTS".unsetenv;  
"SC_JACK_DEFAULT_OUTPUTS".unsetenv;
