This would be a small, nice-to-have feature: the Subsonic API versions 1.15.0 and newer supports the startScan and getScanStatus routes, which start an async library re-index and yield the status of the index, respectively.

It'd be great to have a small button + status indicator in the server dropdown for triggering this endpoint (and polling for completion).

If there's interest in this feature, I'd be happy to work on it!
