Problem

We want to test status connection management and reliability under unreliable network conditions: test status-go when network connectivity is lost.
Direct messages are used for critical chat features: contact request, community join request and response, 1:1 chat.

Implementation

  • Provide a CLI to setup non-regression functional tests with unreliable network conditions (latency, connection drop)
  • TODO: define the API of the CLI based on Vac criteria, or expose the exisiting Json-RPC and see if further API is needed.

Acceptance Criteria

Vac/QA has a CLI that can be used to test status-go under unriliable network conditions.
