The following error message appears when trying to create a note using the Advanced Checklist Editor:

The extension was not found on your system, possibly because it is still downloading. If the extension doesn't load, try uninstalling then reinstalling the extension.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the extension does not work (the same error appears). I have also tried signing out and signing back in but the same error message appears.

The Advanced Checklist Editor works OK on my Android device.

Got the same issue and even did what you did.
I also sent a ticket on the Standard Notes Git board (maybe the wrong place).

Now I am stuck with my day activities...

It turns out that the issue has not been fixed: the Advanced Checklist Editor now works on my Desktop SN but not on my Android device (S9+ running Android 10). When trying to generate a new note or open an existing note using the Advanced Checklist Editor, an error 404 "File not found" appears with the text
The site configured at this address does not contain the requested file

Looks like desktop app was handling installation incorrectly (or not how the new plugins system expected). So right now it's fixed for web (be sure to uninstall and reinstall), and a fix is deploying for desktop now, so you can grab it from our releases page in about 1-2 hours.

Now its broken again on my desktop app. Confirm both on my personal and work laptop.

This should be fixed in 3.23.218: https://github.com/standardnotes/app/releases/tag/%40standardnotes%2Fdesktop%403.23.218

Please uninstall then reinstall the plugin.

Hi all, strange because the problem re-occurred, but yeah, deleting the plugin manually now solved my problem atleast.
