How to exec a command that doesn't end immediately in Linux node? #2044

I'm trying to use containerlab with p4lang/behavioral-model (bmv2) to replace my workflow with mininet. But I can't deploy the lab successfully because I'm stuck in the process.

What I'm trying is to build a topology with 2 hosts and 1 switch (bmv2):

Ubuntu22 <---> simple_switch_grpc (bmv2) <---> Ubuntu22

I need to execute simple_switch_grpc after the interface is set up to bind interfaces so that the cmd of Linux nodes cannot be used.

I tried exec since the document says they are executed after the container finishes booting. But I stuck after the created link message, waited for a long time, and didn't see any following output. I also tried adding & after the command but it didn't work.
