Hi! I'm a Software engineer in Japan. I am mainly active as an author. I maintain a lot of open-source projects. I love these software very much and want to share my knowledge with everyone they want.

Any funding via GitHub Sponsors is going to support my development in 3 different areas:

  • WordPress development (Themes, Plugins, Block Editor, Related development tools etc)
  • Front-End development (Hugo Themes, Sass library etc)
  • Software Research and Development (Web Development, DevOps, Agile software development etc)

Why should you support my development ?

Being involved in many open-source projects requires a lot of work and energy.
It's a lot of blood, sweat, tears and dramas.

I spend some of my life developing on my open-source projects and triaging issues and supporting on forums.

Unfortunately I cannot focus on open-source full-time. If someone sponsors me, I can spend part of my work time for this activity. Also a bit of money shows your appreciation for someone else's work even more.

Goals

Short-term I'd like to see my current efforts be fairly rewarded, so I'd retain my motivation to work on open-source projects at the pace I've been doing.
Next, I will add new open source projects that are useful to all developers and the world.

Long-term I'd like to continue the open-source project for a long time.

But the life cycle of open source project can be unexpectedly short. It is often influenced by the passion and interest of the developer. I'd like to keep my passion and motivation as long as possible. It will last longer if supported in some way. I hope GitHub sponsors will contribute to this!

Support through GitHub Sponsors is one of the feedback ways to these activities.

I would like to thank all the sponsors that support me. It's a motivation to continue that effort and make it even better!

Thanks a lot for your support!
