I am one of the authors of screen, and I created xxd. In the recent years, I created several inkscape extensions, most pominently inkscape-round-corners and inkscape-silhouette (a driver for silhouette-cameo foil cutting machines).
I am main developer of the Ruida driver for VisiCut (supporting many inexpensive laser cutter machines).

I am also proficient in Inkscape, FreeCAD and blender, creating many free designs, available at github or on thingiverse.

I am fascinated by computer history and enjoy building mechanical computing devices. Most famous is my replica of the 400 year old Schickard machine. Drawings are open source too.
Future plans include building a fully functional mechanical (marble machine) computer for educational purposes. Modern electronic machines are way to fast and way to complex to understand!
