Become a sponsor to Sergei Egorov

Hi!
I am Sergei, a developer from Siberia who lives in Berlin now.

⚠️if you're here to sponsor @testcontainers project
consider https://github.com/sponsors/testcontainers instead :)

You may know me from some projects like @testcontainers, @reactor or even Jabel =)

OSS is an essential part of my life (although it is also 100% of my official work time at the moment 😅) and, while some of you may think that it is full of joy, it takes a significant amount of personal time and power to give back to the community.

As I mentioned in one of the talks I gave, the point of OSS is not to earn money, but to give back. Although some may consider giving back... in a form of money 😊

And, since sometimes I talk at conferences using my family's budged to travel & stay (e.g. DockerCon EU 2018, or Devoxx Morocco 2019), that's what motivated me to join the GitHub Sponsors program, and such support would be highly appreciated, because... it goes back to the community and the circle closes :)

... and the stickers. Because everyone loves stickers 😂

P.S. if you wish to make a one-time gift, you can subscribe and then unsubscribe from future payments.
I will appreciate it too! 😊

Some call it "one coffee", but I prefer "the amount you pay to AWS because you never bothered to find THAT service that still requires you to pay for your personal AWS account" 😃

This rather small amount will show your appreciation of what I am doing and remind me of the people who actually care about it.

As a by-product, It will also make me recognize your avatar and pay attention to your questions or issue reports 😁 I am strongly against the paid prioritisation when it comes to OSS, but we can't ignore our brain's ability to remember and recognize people :)

If you're still reading this, I appreciate it already 😅

$5 may not sound a lot, but, aggregated over a year, it is enough to cover a one way economy flight (or train, hello 🌎!) to some conference or JUG, and you, yes YOU, can make it happen :)

Ever wanted to have beers (or coffee) in person? I love beer Me too! And, while I cannot travel to every city in the world, this can increase the chance of me being in your area, to talk about the projects you like and enjoy using 🤓

If you're ready to pay this tier, most probably you're rich an advanced user of some of the OSS projects I am working on and you rely on them, so you want me to continue working on them.

Good news is that money is not what makes me excited about working on them... but the gesture is! 🤩

On this tier, I will feel obligated to mention ya'll when I will be giving a talk which otherwise would not be possible without you! 💯
