Hello, I'm Conner! I just graduated from Academy High School and work as an IT manager, but in my free time I make open-source apps. I'm studying CompSci and AI, so most of the projects I'm working on today are AI projects. Developing an open source app is great, you don't have to ask anyone to license it or have to form a team or any of that, you can just assemble it at your desk during your downtime. However, the problem with open-source software is that the developers don't make any money in sales-- because there are none. Donations help open-source developers such as myself continue to have the resources (and possibly motivation, for some) to build amazing open-source software for everyone.

I love the software I build a ton, but it just doesn't have a place at the company I work at, so I just write it myself at home. As such, I spend hours and hours of time I could be working making solid cash, writing software instead, because I enjoy writing free software everyone can enjoy and modify. Donations help me continue to make software for all, so I can host servers, rent ML power, and buy other learning resources.
