What is Mountea Framework

Mountea Framework is a library of tools for Unreal Engine developers. Open-source and free library, need to say, created by a small group of passionate developers with professional development backgrounds. It all started as a personal toolset for Mountea developers (our team) to develop our game projects. We wanted to unify our approach to repeated tasks, so we agreed to make our shared framework. And at some points, we agreed to share it all for free with all developers around the world.

Who are the Developers

Developers of Mountea Framework will be listed in the Team. The list of members may vary and might be incomplete as some developers prefer to stay anonymous.

Why is sponsorship important? How will we use the funds?

Sponsorship is an optional way to support our Open-Source project, which has no other way to earn money. We will develop and maintain all tools even with no sponsors, however, if the funds are available, we would like to use them for the following:

• Public Wiki page with detailed documentation
• Covering expenses of the development team (Licenses, Subscriptions and Premium GitHub page)
• Covering infrastructure costs (web hosting, domain etc.)
• Hiring external professionals to cover tricky parts we don't understand that well
• Hiring external professionals to cover code reviews and potentially even refactoring designs/code base
• Hiring external professionals to cover UI elements (User Interface, Fonts, Icons etc)

Our main communication platform

We prefer to communicate on our Discord Channel which is open and free to join. Some parts of our Discord Channel might (and in future will be) Tiers locked. This is because we expect (and hope) growing numbers of Discord Channel members. And we cannot possibly communicate will all people, we are just human beings after all. So we want to show our Sponsors that we value them by allowing them to access more closed communication rooms.
