I am a Machine Learning (ML) researcher, and as part of that, I have been developing an ML library JSAT in my free time for several years now. JSAT is written in Java, and and one of the few options for ML in Java. It has no dependencies, which makes it easy to integrate into projects. JSAT also has some of the only publicly available implementations of many algorithms.

I hope to use the sponsorship to continue the development of JSAT. There are always refactoring and improvements to be done project wise, but also a never ending stream of interesting and useful algorithms to be incorporated.
