Example: On https://www.speedrun.com/api/v1/users/jn3pl52x/personal-bests?game=k6qw8z6g, if you search for the run zpwvlkry you will see that the place is reported as 1, even tho it is not WR anymore: https://www.speedrun.com/lbp3/run/zpwvlkry.
