Ben Combee posted in the forums that following the Mozilla guidelines at https://developer.mozilla.org/en/writing_efficient_css can help performance significantly. I'm not great with CSS but maybe there is some opportunity for optimization here?

I think this would be a good idea to implement.

worth looking at. We have pretty lightweight styling, but something to look into and keep in mind, esp as we work in theming (which will be much heavier)
