Now that feature mapper is at a M.V.P., I think we can start to consider some improvements to functionality and accessibility so that we provide this to a end-user/consumer of fulcrum vids as a value-added tool for working with Fulcrum. Some preliminary questions/suggestions for @bmcbride:
Chrome extension - from a video and track viewer in Fulcrum, is there the ability to point the video UUID and API to the feature mapper while user is already logged into Fulcrum? This would prevent the user from shuffling UUIDs and APIs manually.
Can authentication be handled by logging in with user/pass?
Tagging features with notes across multiple videos - Example I tag features in video one (that annotates somewhere in the table that the video ID is from video 1), and the analyst could move to video 2 to begin tagging new features (annotating the video ID from video 2). This contains alls tagged features in a single database. Perhaps adding a column for source video ID and auto-populating that cell with the video ID when the features is added " + ".
Save, Early, Save Often - a few times, I've been working along tagging features and have lost work due to not exporting before accidentally browsing back in the app workspace on chrome. If do it, surely a customer would too.
Need to incorporate "screen grab" button, that captures screenshot showing annotated notes, adjacent map view, and observation in the video. For offline instances, this could save to directory where the html is lives.

@patdevinwilson: 5b33aa3 adds a Chrome extension button that allows you to launch this application from the Fulcrum Video viewer screen. That should solve #1 & #2 on your list.
We discussed an approach for #3 this morning- you can add features from one video, export the GeoJSON, and load that into another video to continue editing on the same file.
Great start Bryan!...Other thoughts from an outsider, beginning to use this tool, might be ..more "export options"..(ie: KML, maybe shapefiles)....On export, the ability to name the file, making it easier to find later....more map types (might make the route/video more recognizable to see an over head as well...Again, these are just first thoughts on my side...
