Hello,

Download the file.

In Windows Explorer, right-click the INF file name. A shortcut menu will appear.

Click Install.

I created PR #10 to add this info to the README

The "install" option doesn't show for me:

I've tried holding shift as well; still no dice.

I'm guessing since no one else has reported this, it's due to some change in my registry or something. Will post here if I find the solution.

I tried this alternative way to install the inf file: https://stackoverflow.com/a/41233871/2441655

In a non-admin shell, I get the error message:

C:\Root\Apps\System\CMD>pnputil -i -a WindowsTerminalHere.inf
Microsoft PnP Utility

Processing inf : WindowsTerminalHere.inf
Adding the driver package failed : Access is denied.

Total attempted: 1
Number successfully imported: 0

In an admin shell, I get this error:

[...]
Adding the driver package failed : The third-party INF does not contain digital signature information.
[...]

Okay, I found the shell command that works: (from here)

rundll32 syssetup,SetupInfObjectInstallAction DefaultInstall 128 .\WindowsTerminalHere.inf

Might be worth adding this to the readme for anyone else whose Windows Explorer does not show the "Install" option. (or just for people who prefer terminal-based installation)

EDIT: Also, here is how to uninstall the context-menu entry:

rundll32 syssetup,SetupInfObjectInstallAction DefaultUninstall 128 .\WindowsTerminalHere.inf
