GUI not working and Authentication failure

Hello o/
The gtk app fails to launch, I'm not sure what could cause this but when I launch the gtk app through the terminal it asks for authentication. I write my sudo password and it just says authentication failure. I'm not sure what to do with this, hope for some help!

Using Hyprland - Arch. Also tried to give my user root privilege because I thought it might be some privilege error but it didn't work.

Also if I open the app with sudo it writes this:

(input-remapper-gtk:69175): Gtk-WARNING **: 11:55:26.377: cannot open display: :1

FIXED

Okay apparently my polkit wasn't working even though it is supposed to be running on startup, I launched the polkit-kde-authentication-agent-1 manually and the input-remapper-gtk started working!
