There are some packages that use all-the-icons for icons so it would be easier!

Waiting for it on Melpa!

Ditto - Hate to micromanage packages, so waiting on melpa before installing.

I know all-the-icons but it doesn't work in terminals, I made icons-in-terminal specifically for sidebar.el to make it work in both terminal and GUI.
Do you have any issues to install icons-in-terminal ?

I will make the request for melpa soon :)

I hope so too!

@sebastiencs Any ideas when this might happen? I think more people would be willing to test the package if it was in melpa.

Can we add sidebar and icons-in-terminal to MELPA? (I use Nix to install emacs packages, and it's inconvenient to extend its snapshot of MELPA, with several individual packages, each of which must be given its own hash.)

I would also love to see both sidebar.el and icons-in-terminal in melpa.

@sebastiencs can I make the melpa request on your behalf ?
