We have to publish the generated Maven site for the Maven plugin to give the user access to the plugin documentation. This Maven site can be deployed to the new branch "site" in the same GitHub repository as the Maven plugin.

The generated Maven site is accessible via the URL https://raw.github.com/sculptor/repository/site.
