I'd like to calibrate BRICK with SNEASY enabled. It looks like there are some TODOs commented in BRICK_calib_driver.R:

  • revise SNEASY_readData.R to match other components
  • add SNEASY calibration data to midx, oidx, obs, obs.err, ind.norm.data, and i0
  • likely will need modified, to make sure forcing is as we want it
  • need to incorporate SNEASY CO2 (and MOC data?) into optimization. Also note that some of the SNEASY parameter bounds are infinite, which causes problems in optimization.
  • modify plotting for only the components that are used (incl SNEASY)
  • need to incorporate SNEASY CO2 (and MOC data?) into calibration

I guess it's not just a matter of switching luse.sneasy to TRUE, correct? Do you have any version of BRICK with SNEASY, either working or as work in progress? How would you prioritize the above TODOs to get to a fully working version?

I would be happy to help.

Thanks!

@jackjackk -- That was a project I have been meaning to do, and am going to commit some time to do it this summer. Have you done anything with the BRICK-SNEASY branch/set-up since January?
Thanks!
