SUMMARY

The backup functionality only backs up the state stored in e.g. DynamoDB. If the policies has been manually changed, the group might not restore properly if e.g. deleted. Please note that if the KMS key is permanently deleted, it is currently not possible to restore a group at all. The policies can be recreated, but if manually changed, we would not apply those changes.

I think keeping track of manual changes it out of scope for Strongbox, but we can warn the user if they are backing up and the policies differ from the default.
